Availability: | In stock (2) |
Would you like to learn the secret to warm, colorful sweaters and accessories that are also simple and entertaining to knit? Look no further than stranded colorwork! Stranding, a technique for working with two or more colors in the same round, is the foundation for Fair Isle, Norwegian ski sweaters, and Latvian mittens (among others). We'll talk about appropriate materials, keeping tension consistent, and how to hold the yarn for ease and speed, while making a simple hat.
Prerequisites: this class is suitable for the intermediate knitter who can knit and purl and is comfortable working in the round.
This three-hour, single-session class costs $15 and will be held Sunday, March 23, from 2-5 PM. Yarn is included; knitters will need to bring or purchase needles.
Remember that classes with no enrollees 48 hours prior to start will be CANCELED.
